It is said that St. Kevin chose Glendalough
for a monestary in the 6th century. It certainly is a beautiful
and secluded location for such a place. Today visitors can come
to the Upper and lower lake and enjoy the unsurpassed beauty of
the country and the lakes. This is indeed a wonderful and inspirational
location.
